David Fyfe, the 5th member of the Band That Time Forgot,
 passed away suddenly last week.

He was our equipment helper, guy Friday, soundman, guitar tech, an archivist scrupulous with details, and our oldest most enthusiastic fan. But mostly he was a true gentleman and a trusted friend who kept our collective spirit alive, providing us confidence and commentary throughout every club date, concert, recording, and rehearsal for 35 years.
Dr. Five was the air we breathed. He knew our families, our loves and losses, our quirks and peccadillos. Many of you who have been with the band through the years knew Dr Five. He was always there with a friendly greeting, a good word, and a handshake.

It is hard to put into words how much he contributed to our little band with his good humor, dedication to the music, and patience with our antics.

Needless to say, we have lost a family member.
That we gave him a good show on and off the stage through all the decades is some comfort. For the band, his friends, fans, and the love of his life, Julie, there is a void beyond words.
We hope he has found that spirit in the sky he so deserves

The Band That Time Forgot honoring our great friend
Jim "The Mighty Mourhashian" Mooradian

He filled in on bass on many, many occasions for Rainbow Gates.
He was a terrific bass player and a joy to work with.
His passing happened far too early in a life filled with family, joy, music, and good will.
We will miss him forever.
He is in the hearts of so many whose instruments he repaired and who shared his company.
His funeral brought an astounding 5,000 people.
He would have been Mightily amused and enormously humbled

To one of our most devoted fans for over 30 years.
will be sorely missed standing right t by the stage grinning form ear to ear.
He would drive up from the Cape! One heck of a great guy.
